The best and most efficient way to book your ticket is from the USA. There is a direct flight on South African Airways (SAA) from Washington, Atlanta or New York to Johannesburg. We will advise you long before booking your ticket as to where you need to connect to once in Johannesburg. It will usually be Port Elizabeth.

We work with Gracy Travel who is based in San Antonio Texas. They will advise you on the best rates and also provide a service that helps you through customs, where they send someone to the airport to brief you and take you through. Clearing the South African customs with a firearm is not difficult. That is provided that you are in possession of the correct documentation and follow the right procedure. Documents must be filled-in in BLACK ink.

The documents and paperwork that you need are:

• SAPS 520 (temporary import form)
• PASSPORT
• RETURN AIRLINE TICKET
• FIREARM LICENCE OR PROOF OF OWNERSHIP
• PROOF OF EXPORT FROM THE COUNTRY OF ORIGIN
• INVITATION LETTER FROM THE OUTFITTER

On confirmation of your booking we will mail all the above paperwork.

All our hunting is conducted in 100% malaria free areas, so there is no need to take malaria prophylactics. Hepatitis A and B and Tetanus shots may be taken, but are not mandatory. We have excellent private hospitals and doctors close to all our hunting areas so it is essential to have full medical insurance for South Africa.
