2008 Highlights


1. A 56" Southern Kudu for Keith Brock to start the 2008 season.
2. Iowa deer hunter John Bambara and an exceptional Red Hartebeest.

3. Curtis Urps on his first safari with Crusader Safaris with a Gemsbok bull.
4. African veteran Dean Grommet with the smallest of the antelope, a Blue Duiker.

5. Young Drake Urps and tracker Willie with a big old bull Baboon.
6. Repeat hunters Jim and Dalena Nelson with a Roland Ward Cape Eland bull.

7. Spirit River assassin, Colby Johnson and a monster Waterbuck, one of the shots of the season.
8. Nathan Dreger also from Northern Alberta and an opening morning Impala.

10. Whitetail outfitter, Scott Taylor of BearPaw Outfitting and a very heavy 53" Southern Kudu.

21. Bowhunter, Lee Bishop hunted for 8 days getting this Zebra, a Kudu and a Duiker.
22. Tina Randello with a Crusader Safaris speciality a Rowland Ward Vaal Rhebok.

23. Paul 'International' Gardner and a 30 inch Waterbuck, a great trophy for a seasoned hunter.
24. Marge Kuchynka shared the hunting with husband Ed, here she is with her Blue Wildebeest.

25. Idaho outdoorsman Ed Kuchynka and one of the best trophies to come out of South Africa in 2008 a 10 inch Vaal Rhebok.
26. A typical Umko Bushbuck, long and heavy, well done Jeff Smart.

27. Four time repeat client and experienced African hunter John Paul and a 28" Nyala.
28. A 55" Cape Kudu for Glenn Bailey, one of Glenn's best ever trophies.

29. Veteran Canadian guide Dan Dalynchuk with a 17" Cape Bushbuck, another monster Bushbuck taken by Crusader Safaris in 2008.
30. A very happy Josh Dunne with his priority animal, a good Waterbuck.

32. All hunters aspire to a 50" Kudu, Rick Viner took this one with a bow.

33. Art Stender was after the small animals on this trip, here he is with a Duiker.
34. On her first trip she was an observer this time she hunted, Colleen Stender with her Zebra.

35. Wisconsin Taxidermist and bowhunter John Albrecht shot this monster 30" Nyala to go with his Girraffe and new world record Duiker.

41. The 'One true Bwana,' Kirt Fredericks an ex SCI chapter chairman and a 30" Nyala.
42. After a great stalk Montana Fredericks shot this huge Black Springbuck.

43. Savvy Fredericks pictured with famous hunter international Glenn Smith and a good Bontebok.
44. Glenn Smith with a 9.5" Vaal Rhebok, a rare and much appreciated trophy for the famous sheep hunter.

45. Ira De Shields from Jersey took many good animals, here he is with his record book class Red Hartebeest.
46. Pennsylvanian Steve Gaidos with his Cape Eland taken with Schalk De Villiers.

47. Larry Lucas got this Common Reedbuck hunting out of our camp in KwaZulu Natal.
48. Colt Davis spent 3 months with us and hunted hard in his time off to get a quality Bushbuck.

49. Deb Snyder hunted the Eastern Cape with husband Ken, taking a big Blue Wildebeest, her first African animal.
50. Another great Vaal Rhebok for Crusader Safaris, Ken Snyder hunted hard for this King of the Mountain.

51. A last light Bushbuck for James Bowman from Baton Rouge, LA.
52. Zach Pliska shot some good trophies here he is with a Steenbok.

53. Erik Baumgartner with his second Bushbuck, a ram we had been hunting for 4 years.
