Veteran African and Canadian big game guide Chris Broster recently guided young Matt Adams to his first big game animal, the Yellow Mongoose. Young Adams had been preparing for the hunt for months stalking Impala, Guinea hens and Monkeys on the families Mount Edgecombe estate in Southern Zululand.
This good grounding and practise proved to be essential in Adams taking the big Mongoose. While on vacation in the Norther Cape Stormberg mountains, Adams and guide Broster took off early looking for any of the smaller mountain critters, not long into the hunt they came upon the Mongoose that Matt killed with one well placed shot to the neck with his trusty .22.
Good work Matthew!
