2006 Update

27 March 2017
John Albrecht

Its half way through the 2006 marketing trip and the Africans are sitting in Manhattan, New York city, a little different from what we are used to at home but a good experience anyways.

We will be in the US for another 3 weeks, attending the Eastern outdoor show in Harrisburg, PA and doing some visiting around New York before that. Our phone number in the US is 1 775 376 2482, it is always good to hear from you all, catch up and plan hunting trips. We appreciate hearing from all old clients as well as all our hunters for 2006. We can also always be contacted on email at hunt@crusadersafaris.com

The trip started off in Greenville, SC where John Paul has put together a great bunch of guys for a combo bird and plains game trip in June of this year. Once again John Paul’s hospitality was top end and it is always great to spend time at the world famous Blind Horse Saloon.

From there we headed west to the Safari Club Show in Reno, NV. As usual the show was real busy and competitive, with outfitters from all over the world selling hunts. The Crusader Safaris and Bearpaw booths (3310 and 3312) where very busy with the big Mulies and top end Kudu attracting attention. The fact that we do no hunting in high fences was something that was noticed and appreciated by all who stopped to talk.

Bookings for the season have been really good and we are going to be real busy this season, we cant wait to get back home and start hunting. The season opens up on the 10th of March for us. We have a few remaining hunts to sell and with another show to do yet, we are pretty confident of having a full programme.

The show in Harrisburg, PA starts on Sat the 4th and runs until the 12th. Our booth is in the main outfitter hall where we have been for the past few years. If you are anywhere near the show it will be good to see you. Chris and Andrew from Crusader Safaris will be there and Kevin Congdon and Chris Gilbert from Bearpaw. We will also have a full mount of Ron Clous 239” Whitetail killed at Bearpaw in the fall. So if you are in the area come visit us at the booth.

That’s all for now, see you at the show.

Regards,
Andrew and Chris
